Dive Into Tomorrow at Camp Christian

The Christian Church in Ohio (Disciples of Christ) joyfully invites the Regional Church—and friends beyond the Regional Church—to Dive into Tomorrow at Camp Christian on Saturday, May 16, 2026 (1:00–8:00 PM).

Also known as Camp Open House & Pool Construction Blessing Day, this is a celebratory, all-ages gathering to explore the campgrounds, reconnect with camp friends, and bless the next chapter of camp ministry—especially the exciting progress toward our new pool. This milestone is being made possible through the generous support of those who have given to the “If Not Now, When? If Not You, Who?” financial campaign.

What to Expect:

1:00–3:15 PM — Open House Fun
Welcome, camp tours, scavenger hunt, wagon rides, and snacks

4:00 PM — Pool Construction Blessing Ceremony
Liturgy, music, prayer, and time for group photos (churches, counselors, staff alumni, and more)

5:30 PM — Appetizers & Dinner

6:30 PM — Talent Show (or possibly a Hoedown!)

Come for the whole day or drop in for your favorite part—all ages are welcome.

Help Make the Day Welcoming and Wonderful

To create a vibrant, connection-filled experience, participation from Commissions, Camps, and Conferences is encouraged:

• Publicity: Share the invitation across your churches, networks, and alumni circles.
• Information Tables: An info table in the Dining Hall is requested for each Commission/Camp/Conference.
• Scavenger Hunt Activities: Each Commission/Camp/Conference is invited to host a 5–10 minute activity/craft/game somewhere on the grounds (gym, vespers area, craft cabins, admin breezeway, etc.). This is a fun way for guests to learn about the ministries of the Region while exploring camp. (A small giveaway is welcome, but not required.)
