Clergy Conversation Call To Focus On Improving Search & Call
Next Wednesday, February 28th at 10:00 a.m. all clergy (ordained and commissioned) are invited to join us for our Clergy Conversation Call on Zoom. We will begin with a check-in and a brief sharing of news and updates. Then our topic of discussion will be "How Can The Search & Call Process Be Improved?” Rev. Harris has recently been appointed to be on the General Commission on Ministry for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and is on the "Search & Call Subcommittee. This is your chance to share your thoughts on what is working well in the search and call process, both in the Regional Church and denominationally, and what might be improved. And if you don't know anything at all about it, then this is your chance to learn a little more than you did before.
These calls are a way for us to stay connected, to learn from and to support one another, and to share ideas, resources, questions, and information. The upcoming schedule is below. A topic for March is sought, and if you have any ideas or would like to lead one, please email Rev. Harris at AHarris@ccinoh.org.
Currently the gatherings are scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. and occasionally at 7 p.m. to make them as accessible as possible for all our clergy colleagues.
The Zoom link is generally sent out the Monday before.
