Congregations Invited To Celebrate
Camp, Conference & Retreat Sunday
April 12th, 19th, or 26th
The Christian Church in Ohio offers a wonderful array of camps, conferences, and retreats for persons of all ages from May through early September. Each one seeks to provide quality faith formation and deep spiritual growth to members and friends of our congregations, as well as to the broader community.
This year the Camp Christian Committee suggests April 12th, 19th, or 26th as a day to celebrate and promote all of our wonderful camps, conferences, and retreats for 2026. Some congregations may choose other dates to do the same thing and we honor and celebrate that as well!
A set of worship resources have been created, much of it drawn from congregations already celebrating Camp Sunday. A set of PowerPoint slides have also been prepared for use in local congregations that have projection in worship. All of these resources are linked above.
If you have other creative ideas and liturgical resources, please share them with us at ccio@ccinoh.org and we will add to the worship resource. We also hope congregations will take pictures of how they celebrate Camp, Conference, & Retreat Sunday that can be shared in the Regional Church newsletter and on social media.
Complete registration packets have been sent to each congregation and all registration materials are available online.
