First Christian Church of Wauseon

For over 50 years, First Christian Church of Wauseon has taken an adventure called Heritage Trip with their youth. Every year they visit an historical site affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). They rotate among Bethany, WV, (Bethany College & Disciples Historical Society); Indianapolis, IN (Disciples General Offices); Camp Christian (a service trip); and Cane Ridge, KY (Cane Ridge Meeting House). This year, a group of 14 (9 youth, 5 adults) went to Kentucky. They explored and learned about Transylvania University, visited Cane Ridge and toured the Meeting House, and worshiped at Florence Christian Church on their way home. The youth look forward every year to a trip of learning AND fun.
